The current test service
Access is currently restricted for testing. Stripe checkout uses test mode: test credit has no cash value and is not a real-money purchase. Do not enter a real card into a test checkout. Real payments and public registration have not been enabled.
Translation has limits
Translations, transcripts, image readings and generated voices can be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or interrupted. Check names, amounts, directions and other important details. Do not rely on TouriGlot as an emergency service, a certified interpreter or your only source for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions.
Your account and content
Keep access to your email secure and sign out on shared devices. Submit only content you are authorized to process, and obtain any required permission from speakers or people whose information appears in an image or recording. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment, fraud, unauthorized surveillance or interference with security controls. You keep your rights in your submitted content; the service must process it to perform your request.
Rates, credit and usage
Current test rates are shown on the Rates page. All amounts are in USD. Connected live time includes silence while the session remains open. Other services may charge for recognized audio, text/image processing and generated speech. Read-aloud or replay can create a separate charge unless cached audio is reused.
Usage is calculated at higher precision than the cents displayed. Fractional cents accumulate; individual displayed charges may not add up exactly to a displayed total. Temporary reservations reduce available credit while a request runs or awaits confirmation. A reservation is not a final charge. Unconfirmed usage is checked through recovery.
Limits and interruptions
Spending controls apply to new requests. Existing sessions retain their reserved budget and can stop when a spending or time limit is reached. Stop the conversation when finished. Closing the page, losing connectivity or backgrounding a phone can interrupt service; shutdown and billing finalization may take time. No connection or translation quality is guaranteed.
Recordings and downloads
Recording is optional. Saved recordings and phrases remain in this browser, not a cloud backup. You are responsible for obtaining permission and downloading copies you need. Clearing site storage can delete them. Review the Privacy draft for online processing and local storage details.
Payments, refunds and statutory rights
There are no real-money purchases in the current test service. For future real payments, our planned policy is to refund the unused portion of a top-up when requested within 30 days of that top-up. Contact support from your registered email with the payment date or reference. Service errors are reviewed separately; describe the affected service and date so we can investigate. Approved real-payment refunds will be returned through the original payment method where supported. This policy is not yet an automated refund feature. Remaining tax and credit conditions will be finalized before real payments are enabled. If a test charge looks wrong, contact support with its date and service; do not send card details, passwords or sign-in codes. Nothing in this draft removes rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Service changes and contact
Features and test rates may change during development. We may restrict access to protect the service or investigate misuse. Final public-launch terms, their effective date and any required acceptance will be provided before launch.
